"No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation."
-- General Douglas Mac Arthur - Source
"The obstacles to usurpation and the ability to resist increase with the increased size of the state, provided the citizens understand their rights and want to defend them." (emphasis added)

Quote of the day - Hamilton on General Welfare in Art. I, Section 8, of our U.S. Constitution
The plan of the convention declares that the power of Congress, or, in other words, of the NATIONAL LEGISLATURE, shall extend to certain enumerated cases. This specification of particulars evidently excludes all pretension to a general legislative authority, because an affirmative grant of special powers would be absurd, as well as useless, if a general authority was intended.

Your personal information will always be held private, and will never be sold, given away, traded, or used in any matter except for our stated purpose and plan.
Our Purpose: This site and newsletter is wholly dedicated to re-establishing our nation's founding Judeo-Christian values, and returning our federal government back to its limited Constitutional authority.
Our Plan: To educate, motivate, and activate citizens in their civic duty to hold their elected officials accountable to their sworn duties and no more. To empower citizens in this effort we will be providing historical context and purpose to specific enumerated Constitutional powers in order to assist citizens in this effort. This will be accomplished by one to two minute read, bi-weekly news letters and timely links.
Madison, the father of our Constitution said:
"Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government."
Unfortunately, that is what we have allowed to happen.
Thomas Jefferson said:
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."
He later said:
"I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control..., the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power."
This in a nutshell is our purpose!
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14
